The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Patient Financial Counselor I to assist patients with outpatient, inpatient, and ambulatory services by explaining insurance policies and benefits.

You will analyze financial situations, determine eligibility for governmental and non-governmental programs, help complete applications, and collect verifications for programs like Charity, HCAP, and Medicaid.

Competenze

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 6 months experience in customer service or a healthcare environment.
Experience with Windows, Excel, and intranet navigation preferred.
Ability to work in multiple systems for assigned tasks, management, and reporting.
Strong problem-solving and presentation skills.
