Qualifications

• Strong organizational, analytical, financial and reasoning skills.
• Effective communication with diverse patients and staff.
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with medical billing, insurance verification and payments processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient accounts and verify insurance information.
• Verify insurance coverage at visits and update EMR with current data.
• Review sliding fee applications and determine eligibility.
• Discuss payment options and set up payment plans with patients.
