Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Patient Financial Services Representative to greet patients and guarantors, collect demographic and financial information, and verify insurance coverage in hospital, ambulatory, or medical office settings.

You will explain policies, secure signatures, obtain authorizations, provide patient estimates, and collect payments. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for high-quality patient experience.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• No experience required; 1 year of related hospital/customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and payment/insurance verification knowledge are desirable.

Mansioni

• Greet patients and guarantors and collect necessary demographic, financial and insurance information.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-certifications/authorizations as needed.
• Explain policies and obtain required signatures for notices and consents.
• Provide patient estimates and collect out-of-pocket amounts per guidelines; balance daily deposits.
• Assist with scheduling walk-ins, appointments and referrals; support discharge and follow-up arrangements.
