Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment for patients, greet guests, and support center operations. The role covers check-in, paperwork, co-pays, and updating EMR data, while coordinating appointments and maintaining front-desk areas.

As part of the Service Team, you will handle calls, faxes, and occasional center-wide coverage, ensuring a high-touch patient experience and smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills required.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by communities we serve.
• US work authorization.
• Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Updating patient information in the EMR.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments in the EMR.
• Managing phone lines by answering, taking messages, and outbound calls.
• Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
