Job summary

Qualifications

• Flexible and positive attitude is required.
• Welcoming and nurturing approach toward older adult patients is essential.
• Strong computer skills; basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in customer service setting is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with high integrity.
• Proficient PC skills.
• College degree preferred; some college required.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other community languages is helpful.
• US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and conducting check-ins with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays from patients.
• Updating patient information in the EMR system.
• Scheduling appointments within the EMR platform.
• Managing phone lines: answering, messaging, and outbound calls.
• Managing patient referrals and completing required authorizations.
• Requesting medical records and uploading documents to EMR.
• Assisting new patients with paperwork.
• Assisting with community room events.
• Other duties as assigned.
