Job summary

Stanton Optical, part of Now Optics, seeks a Doctor’s Technician at our on-site store location. You will deliver outstanding patient service while facilitating sales and ensuring seamless collaboration between retail and clinical teams.

The role emphasizes empathy, clear communication, and strong multitasking to manage appointments, pre-tests, and lens-related tasks in a fast-paced optical environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher is required or pursuing.
• 2+ years of experience delivering customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, building rapport, and empathizing with patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to enable a smooth experience and sales.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional/clinical services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; record patient history and perform pre-tests and tests as required.
• Assist management with patient issues and ensure adherence to brand standards and timely completion of orders.
• Perform basic lab tasks: edge lenses, assemble into frames, and prepare orders for delivery.
• Ensure lab area quality and report equipment issues; monitor delivery times for commitments.
• Other duties as assigned.
