Job summary

Now Optics, doing business as Stanton Optical, is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to serve as the friendly first touchpoint in-store. You will deliver outstanding customer service, facilitate sales, and bridge the retail and clinical services teams.

This role supports the optical lab and patient experience with meticulous attention to detail. Qualifications include an associate degree or higher, 2+ years in customer service, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma, or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of customer service experience delivering outstanding service.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, building rapport, and empathizing with patients.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset to address patients' concerns.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers; identify needs and promote available products/services.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule/confirm appointments and record patient history in the system.
• Assist management with patient issues and ensure brand standards in the lab area.
• Edge lenses, repair accommodations, and ensure timely delivery of glasses.
• Maintain brand standards and report equipment issues.
• Track delivery times to meet service commitments (Now Service).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
