Job summary

Stanton Optical, a Now Optics brand, is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to provide exceptional customer service and facilitate a smooth transition between clinical services and the retail team in our on-site store. You will help drive sales while upholding brand standards and patient satisfaction.

The role reports to the Store (Brand) Manager and requires an associate degree or higher certification, along with 2+ years of customer service experience in a related setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, ability to build rapport, and empathy with patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs, and promote available products and services.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services.
• Schedule appointments and enter patient history; perform basic pre-tests.
• Assist management with complaint resolution and communicate status of all jobs.
• Assemble lenses into frames and edge lenses to expedite delivery.
• Maintain brand standards in the lab area and report equipment issues.
• Keep track of delivery times to ensure on-time service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
