Physicians Eyecare Group in Virginia Beach seeks a Doctor Technician to deliver exceptional patient service at the storefront, acting as the friendly first touchpoint and ensuring smooth flow between clinical and retail teams.

You will greet patients, collect information, schedule appointments, and support PEG standards while collaborating with a diverse team to meet store goals and patient expectations. Optical experience is a plus and HIPAA record handling is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and a positive demeanor.
• Proactive with strong problem-solving skills to address patient concerns.
• Results-driven with ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs in a team.
• Schedule flexibility; hours determined by business needs.
• Enjoy working with technology and staying curious about innovations in optics.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding patient experience, collaborating with team to achieve store goals and clinical metrics.
• Greet patients, identify needs, and explain products and services for a memorable visit.
• Answer inquiries and collect information to ensure a positive experience.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Assist with patient complaint resolution and communicate status of orders.
• Uphold brand standards and assist with routine housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain patient records confidential and HIPAA-compliant.
