Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to enhance the patient journey by delivering first-rate service from entry to care transition between Clinical services and the retail team.

In this role you will provide outstanding customer service, assist with scheduling, answer questions, maintain confidential records per HIPAA, and support the PEG team to meet daily, weekly and monthly goals while staying flexible to business needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of customer service experience with patients or customers.
• Effective communication with a diverse group of people.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and positive demeanor.
• Proactive problem solving to address concerns.
• Results-driven with ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs.
• Flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Interest in technology and curiosity about innovations.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient experience and collaborate with team to achieve store goals.
• Greet patients, identify needs and explain available products and services.
• Answer inquiries and collect information for a positive experience.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Assist with patient complaint resolution and track pending orders.
• Maintain brand standards and basic housekeeping duties.
• Keep patient records confidential under HIPAA.
• Communicate with supervising PEG physician for patient care guidance.
• Meet PEG goals on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
