You will verify insurance authorizations, assist with co-pays and billing questions, and provide clerical support to keep the office running smoothly. This is a day-shift, on-site position at Saint Thomas Medical Partners.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome for every visitor, guiding them through the check-in/out process and ensuring records are accurate.
• Proactively manage schedules, confirm appointments, and handle medical record requests to keep clinical team and patients in sync.
• Assist patients by verifying insurance authorizations and precertifications ahead of time, then help them navigate co-payments and billing questions with transparency and empathy.
• Submit daily service charges, reconcile deposits, and provide essential clerical support to keep the office organized and welcoming.
