Job summary

Balance Health in Middle Tennessee seeks a Patient Services Representative to provide exceptional front-desk support at our Spring Hill and Nashville clinics. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and help maintain accurate patient records using our EMR system.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years in a medical office, strong communication and time-management skills, reliable transportation, and a patient, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a professional medical office front desk role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Proven time-management and organizational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and direct them to appropriate staff; take detailed messages.
• Schedule appointments for new and existing patients in person and by phone.
• Greet patients, check them in/out, and manage referrals and prior authorizations.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays and balances.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system and ensure timely tasks.
