Corewell Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative in Grand Rapids to deliver registration, concierge and clerical support. You will work with the care team to register patients, assist with check-out, schedule appointments, referrals, and in-office procedures, while reviewing medical records.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related fields.

Aufgaben

• Register patients in treatment rooms and assist with patient check-out; schedules patient appointments, referrals, in-office procedures, surgeries and tests; review medical records of incoming referrals.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and verify prior authorization; assist with denials/appeals.
• Perform complex EMR/EHR scanning and Right Fax uploading to EPIC; assist training new team members.
