Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Services Representative in Grand Rapids to support patient registration, concierge services, and clerical duties. You will work with a team to ensure accurate check-ins, scheduling, referrals, and medical record coordination in a fast-paced health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related fields.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex patient problems during registration and in-room check-in.
• Perform administrative tasks: schedule appointments, process referrals, review medical records, and manage provider templates.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and assist with denials/appeals when needed.
• Scan and upload documents to EPIC and ensure right faxing is completed.
• Train new team members and support team safety initiatives.
