Corewell Health's Grand Rapids location is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join the front desk team. You will handle registration, concierge and clerical services to support patients and providers in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The role involves coordinating appointments, verifying insurance, processing referrals, and ensuring accurate medical record handling within EPIC. A strong focus on service quality and teamwork is essential.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or related fields.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve complex patient/customer problems during registration and treatment room setup.
• Handle administrative tasks: checkout, scheduling, referrals, procedures, and medical record review.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and assist with denials/appeals.
• Perform EMR/EHR scanning and EPIC-related tasks.
• Train new team members using standard work.
• Provide coverage as Patient Services Representative, Associate when needed.
• Participate in safety initiatives and compliance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
