Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Services Associate II to warmly process arrival and departure activities, verify demographics, insurance, referrals, and pre-authorizations, and help maintain smooth patient flow using EPIC in our Elkins Park practice.

The PSA II delivers the Jefferson Experience by greeting patients, coordinating appointments, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and supporting a courteous, efficient environment across the Philadelphia region.

Qualificações

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate courteously with patients/visitors.
• Ability to process and interpret data.
• Ability to multi-task in a time-sensitive workload.
• Adherence to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Processes check-in and check-out, scheduling via EPIC.
• Obtains pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations.
• Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates concerns.
• Greets patients/visitors professionally in person or by phone.
• Follows HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
