Jefferson Health in Elkins Park, PA is seeking a Patient Services Associate II to professionally process patient arrival and departure activities, verify insurance, and obtain pre-certifications for procedures. You will support a smooth patient flow and uphold Jefferson's commitment to excellent service.

Responsibilities include scheduling via EPIC, greeting patients, maintaining HIPAA compliance, and escalating concerns as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must communicate courteously with patients and visitors.
• Ability to multitask and manage time-sensitive workload.

Responsabilités

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff in line with Jefferson values.
• Processes check in and/or check out, and schedules patient appointments via EPIC.
• Obtains pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Maintains efficient flow of the practice and escalates patient or provider concerns as appropriate.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors professionally, on phone or in person.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements and complies with all applicable regulations.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
