Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Ohio is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to welcome patients, process registrations and co-pays, and guide visitors from arrival to checkout. You will assist with scheduling, MyChart enrollment, and kiosk use, ensuring a smooth, patient-centered experience.

You will work with physicians and care teams to support efficient checkout, perform insurance verification, verify appointments, and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus two years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service.
• Associate's Degree plus one year of experience.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Working knowledge of PC Windows applications.
• Ability to perform basic math sufficient to process insurance co-pays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, collect co-pays, and prepare visits.
• Assist with kiosk use, scheduling, pre-registration and MyChart enrollment.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure a smooth checkout process.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information.
• Recruit, enroll and educate patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass.
