Job summary

This role supports travel within the region as needed and emphasizes high-quality service, accurate data handling and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service OR an Associate’s Degree and one year of experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree
• Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer services and conflict resolution

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive and “Patients First” experience for patients and visitors.
• Investigate, triage and resolve patient issues using the HEART model.
• Create a welcoming and professional environment; interact with patients and ensure stellar experiences.
• Register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and schedule services.
• Explain patient estimates and assist with financial counseling when needed.
• Schedule staff and manage arrival/departure desk activities.
• Promote patient use of MyChart and Appointment Pass; follow up on inquiries.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient information and communications.
