Cleveland Clinic on the Main Campus seeks a Patient Service Specialist to deliver a high-quality patient experience. You will handle registration, triage, scheduling and insurance tasks, guiding patients and families with a professional, welcoming demeanor.

Role emphasizes using the HEART model, educating patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass, and maintaining accurate, confidential records in a fast-paced environment on site in Cleveland, OH.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus two years of experience in patient registration, scheduling, insurance processing or customer service.
• OR an associate’s degree and one year of experience.
• OR a bachelor’s degree.

Responsabilités

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive and "Patients First" experience for patients and visitors.
• Investigate, triage and resolve patient issues using the HEART model.
• Create a welcoming, professional environment and ensure stellar patient experiences.
• Register patients, prepare visits, perform telephone triage, verify insurance, collect co-pays, track patients/records, schedule and manage arrival/departure desks and interpreter services.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information.
• Recruit, enroll and educate patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass.
