Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Ohio is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to deliver a patient-first experience from entry to departure. You will support scheduling, pre-registration, MyChart enrollment, and visit preparation, contributing to a welcoming, efficient environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities include registration, triage via HEART model, insurance verification, co-pay collection, and interpreter scheduling support, with a steady 40-hour work week within a 7:30am–8:00pm weekday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with relevant experience, or an associate/bachelor's degree as alternative paths.
• Experience in patient registration, scheduling, insurance processing or customer service.
• Working knowledge of Windows PC applications and basic math for co-pays.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-registration for patients and families.
• Assist with MyChart enrollment and visit preparations.
• Triage patient needs, verify insurance and collect co-pays.
• Register patients, track records, and handle interpreter scheduling.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information.
