Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Crescent is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative (Non-Exempt). This full-time role at the Crescent clinic focuses on delivering a positive patient experience by managing front desk operations and patient workflows.

You will greet patients, verify identity, handle phone calls, scheduling, and Epic chart activities. The PSR will maintain a safe, clean reception area, support policy updates, and ensure confidentiality while delivering accurate patient

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: None required. One year of applicable medical office experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; basic computer skills; excellent customer service; patient-focused.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and verifies their identity.
• Answers phones, Epic chart creation, processes mail; scans and uses RightFax; copies as needed.
• Performs check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling.
• Maintains clinic equipment and basic office technology.
• Follows infection control guidelines and confidentiality policies; maintains EHR accuracy.
