Job summary

Providence Medical Group is seeking a Patient Relations Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, on site or by phone, delivering courteous service and resolving basic questions.

You will support a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care and collaborate with care teams to ensure smooth check-in, accurate information, and timely escalation of concerns. This role offers growth in a large, mission-driven health system across Oregon communities.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience or successful completion of Providence internship.
• 1 year medical office or health care experience (preferred).
• Basic experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems (preferred).
• Medical terminology experience (preferred).
• Rooming position: CNA, non-credentialed MA, EMT experience or similar (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients or visitors in person or by phone.
• Provide exceptional customer service to maintain high patient satisfaction.
• Support patients with check-in/check-out processes and route inquiries appropriately.
