Job summary

Providence Health & Services in Oregon is hiring an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering excellent service and coordinating between patients and providers throughout the administrative flow.

This role covers front- and back-office duties in Primary and Specialty clinics, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, demographics, and EPIC-based workflows, with opportunity to grow in the mission of compassionate

Qualifications

6 months of Customer service related experience.
6 months of Office experience, preferably in a medical office. Recent experience in the medical field.
6 months of Electronic Medical Record.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in person and by phone.
Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Perform front and back-office duties, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, updating demographic information and patient support.
Maintain clinic efficiency through accurate documentation and adherence to workflows within the electronic medical record (EPIC).
Demonstrate growth and proficiency in supporting Providence's mission of compassionate, high-quality care.
