You will greet patients, check them in/out, collect payments, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and support the care team to deliver high-quality care daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of recent experience in a medical office preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance/billing basics preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients; verify demographics and insurance. Collect copays and balances. Schedule follow-ups and provide summaries/referrals as needed.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments; confirm changes promptly and communicate delays.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; obtain pre-authorizations and referrals as needed.
• Support office operations including faxing, scanning and indexing documents into patient records.
• Provide compassionate customer service and ensure HIPAA compliance; maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
