Job summary

Summit Health Management is hiring a Patient Service Representative to join a multidisciplinary medical office team. You will support daily operations, assist with patient check-in, scheduling, and insurance verifications, and help maintain a positive patient experience.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, preferably an Associate degree, and strong English communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• Previous PSR experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors, patients and families in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintains efficient patient flow through the registration process and provides excellent service.
• Answers phones promptly and directs calls, taking accurate messages.
• Updates the EHR with PCP information and patient demographics.
• Posts self-pay charges, collects payments, and provides receipts.
• Schedules appointments and procedures according to guidelines; confirms future visits.
