Qualifications

• Experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Dexterity to operate a PC and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive, and “Patients First” experience for patients and visitors.
• Investigate, triage and resolve patient issues using the HEART model.
• Create a welcoming and professional environment, interact with patients and ensure stellar patient experiences.
• Register patients, prepare visits, perform telephone triage, verify insurance, collect co-pays, track patients and records, schedule, manage arrival/departure desk activities, and coordinate interpreter services as needed.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information.
• Recruit, enroll and educate patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass.
