Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service.
• Associate’s degree with one year of experience, or Bachelor’s degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive and “Patients First” experience for patients and visitors.
• Triage and resolve patient issues using the HEART model.
• Register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and schedule services.
• Educate and enroll patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass.
• Maintain patient schedules and assist with interpreter services as needed.
