Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General's Stow Health and Wellness Center is hiring a Patient Service Specialist to deliver an exceptional experience to patients, families and visitors from arrival to departure. You will assist with scheduling and pre-registration, MyChart enrollment, and visit preparation.

Responsibilities include insurance verification, co-pay collection, and coordination of interpreter services, while promoting patient use of MyChart and front-end technology to streamline care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years in patient registration or similar experience.
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service and resolving conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive patient experience from arrival to departure.
• Schedule appointments, pre-registration and visit preparation.
• Register patients and verify insurance coverage and co-pays.
• Explain and enroll patients in MyChart and appointment options.
• Capture referrals and communicate appointment details accurately.
