Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and prior experience in a medical or dental office.
• Proven ability to access, input, and retrieve information using Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to quickly learn new software programs and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits outstanding customer service with the patient as a top priority.
• Answers the telephone and schedules or directs patient appointments.
• Confirms patient appointments and provides pre-visit instructions.
• Discusses benefits and/or co-pays with patients and coverage information.
• Facilitates timely responses to third-party payer requests for information.
• Coordinates baseline benefit verification or self-pay options for new patients.
• Collaborates with coworkers and offices to verify referrals and radiography.
