Qualifications

• High school diploma and prior experience in a medical or dental office.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to input/retrieve information.
• Comfort learning new software programs and EMR quickly.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits outstanding customer service with the patient as a number one priority.
• Answers the telephone and either responds to inquiry, directs caller or schedules appointments.
• Confirms patients' appointments and provides pre-visit instructions.
• Contacts patients regarding benefits, co-pays and coverage information.
• Ensures timely responses to third-party payers' requests for information.
• Coordinates benefit verification and self-pay options for new patients.
• Coordinates with coworkers and offices to verify referrals and radiography.
