Job summary

Carolinas Center For Oral & Facial Surgery in Pinehurst, NC is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure an outstanding patient experience from start to finish. You will be the main contact for referrals, guide patients through the process, and coordinate scheduling and benefit verification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and prior experience in a medical/dental office.
• Ability to access/input/retrieve information using MS Office.
• Comfort with learning new software and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits outstanding customer service with the patient as a top priority.
• Answers the telephone and manages inquiries or schedules appointments.
• Confirms patient appointments and provides pre-visit instructions.
• Contacts patients regarding benefits and/or co-pays and coverage information for outpatient procedures.
• Ensures timely response to third party payers for additional information.
• Coordinates baseline verification of benefits or self-pay options for new patients.
• Coordinates with coworkers to verify referrals and radiography.
