Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to greet patients, register them, and maintain records while ensuring a positive patient experience and efficient office operations.

You will manage scheduling, coordinate referrals and follow-ups, process co-pays, and use Epic and patient portal tools to keep files accurate and patients' privacy protected. Monday through Friday shifts in Connecticut provide opportunities for growth within a major healthcare network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office is highly preferred.
• Epic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and answer routine questions to create a positive first impression.
• Register arriving patients, including insurance verifications and demographics updates.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient access to ensure timely visits.
• Maintain patient records and protect patient privacy according to standards.
• Process co-pays and explain office billing policies to patients.
