Job summary

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Required: 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Answers inbound and outbound calls; directs callers and handles calls efficiently.
• Exhibits high level of service to callers and staff.
• Initiates referrals for specialist appointments, procedures and tests.
• Contacts patients by phone to remind of appointments and follow-up care questions.
• Cancels and reschedules appointments as needed.
• Organizes and distributes mail and paperwork related to patient care.
• Schedules appointments for providers and communicates instructions to patients.
• Takes requests for refills, labs and test results as required.
• Assists with patient call backs as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
