Job summary

You will greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, verify insurance, register patients, collect payments and coordinate referrals and tests across front office, clinical staff and providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of medical office experience preferred.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and answer incoming calls, directing needs appropriately.
• Verify insurance and patient information; update records.
• Schedule appointments using multiple practice systems.
• Register new patients and explain policies, collect emails if available.
• Collect copayments, process referrals, and obtain prior authorizations when needed.
