Confluent Health, LLC is seeking a Care Coordinator to be the first voice patients hear and the first face they see. You will manage front desk operations, greet patients, verify insurance, schedule visits, and support the clinical team with an organized, compassionate patient experience.

The role is on-site and includes comprehensive training on EMR navigation, insurance fundamentals, and scheduling workflows, plus onboarding and ongoing leadership support.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least one year in a customer-facing or patient-facing role.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone with patience and professionalism.
• Basic computer proficiency with scheduling software and spreadsheets.
• No prior medical experience required; training will be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Handle front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
• Keep patient flow moving by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and following up for future visits.
• Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation.
