Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, customers, and vendors professionally; primary contact for patient interactions.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, manage emails or digital communications.
• Schedule patient appointments and optimize provider schedules.
• Confirm appointments, reduce no-show rates, and prepare patients for visits.
• Verify insurance eligibility and enter patient demographics in EMR.
• Explain coverage and patient financial responsibility to patients.
• Prepare charts and documentation ahead of visits for flow efficiency.
• Record charges, co-pays, and payments in EMR; balance allocations.
• Run reports to ensure charges are billed and up to date.
• Monitor daily patient flow and adjust schedules to avoid bottlenecks.
• Communicate wait times and next steps to maintain a positive experience.
• Coordinate with clinical teams for smooth patient transitions.
• Support retention through recall and follow-up on appointments.
