Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Patient Visit Specialist to deliver outstanding service to every patient. You will support patient visits, guide patients to destinations, and ensure smooth coordination of care with providers.

The role emphasizes front-desk duties, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and a focus on warm hand-offs to staff. This is a full-time, on-site position in Michigan with a team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; coursework in insurance/billing or medical practice education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a point of contact for providers and staff with patient scheduling questions or concerns.
• Supports the patient visit through personalized attention to contact, referrals, check-in, check-out, and follow-up.
• Obtains insurance verification and secures authorization required for services provided.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule office appointments.
• Collect payments and support accurate billing processes.
• Schedules research patient per research protocol.
• Maintain patient records and support day-to-day office operations.
