Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; coursework in health insurance or medical practice is a plus.
• Credentials/licensure: none required.
• Minimum experience: experience in patient services, medical reception, or a medical call center.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients by phone.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Answer questions, route calls appropriately, and relay messages to clinical staff.
• Verify patient registration and insurance information.
• Assist patients with MyChart and other patient portal support.
• Support referrals, authorizations, and patient outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Partner with providers and office teams to create a seamless patient experience.
