Responsibilities

  • Register patients, verify insurance, and explain patient responsibility for payments.
  • Schedule, reschedule and refer appointments; prepare test requisitions as needed.
  • Answer phone calls, provide telephone triage, and route messages appropriately.
  • Process time-of-service payments and update demographic/insurance information.
  • Support patient experience improvements and multi-disciplinary quality initiatives.
  • Maintain neat and orderly reception and front office areas.
