Job summary

Sanitas is seeking a Patient Representative Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will assist with pre-visit planning, check-in/out, and post-visit follow-up while protecting patient confidentiality and supporting efficient operations.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting, with emphasis on service excellence and patient experience.

Qualifications

• High SchoolGraduate or equivalent.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, healthcare front desk preferred.
• Fluent English; bilingual Spanish or Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Verify appointments, insurance eligibility, copayments, and demographics.
• Conduct check-in and check-out processes; collect payments and update records.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect PHI; comply with privacy regulations.
• Monitor schedules to minimize wait times and improve patient flow.
• Perform post-visit follow-ups, including calls and NPS surveys when required.
• Prepare and maintain staff areas (coffee/snacks) to support a welcoming environment.
• Participate in team meetings and support center goals.
