Job summary

Sanitas in Phoenix area seeks a Patient Representative Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, guiding them through the visit from check-in to check-out while maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.

You will support pre-visit planning, verify insurance, collect copayments, and coordinate with care teams to ensure timely service and a positive patient experience in a busy medical center.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner; direct to the appropriate person or department.
• Check-in/out, verify insurance eligibility, collect copayments, and update demographic information.
• Validate appointments, update records, and ensure privacy and confidentiality.
• Monitor schedules and workflows to minimize wait times and promote timely care.
• Perform post-visit follow-ups and document outcomes to support service improvements.
• Respond to patient questions with courteous, accurate information.
