Stanton Optical, a fast-growing retail optical center, is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to greet patients, coordinate between retail and clinical teams, and facilitate tests and eyewear fitting. You will support the patient journey from check-in to final delivery, ensuring a smooth, high-quality experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or active enrollment in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of customer service experience with patients or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building, and empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem solving and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborative team player with a positive, results-driven mindset.
• Comfortable multitasking in a busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store, identify needs, and promote products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule appointments, enter patient history, and perform pre-tests and basic eye tests.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and update status of orders.
• Maintain brand standards and perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Assemble lenses, edge stock, and ensure timely delivery of eyeglasses.
• Monitor lab quality and report equipment issues or order problems to management.
• Track delivery times to meet promised service levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
