Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to provide outstanding customer service and facilitate a smooth transition between clinical services and retail. You will greet patients, assist with pre-tests, and promote services while coordinating with store teams to optimize the patient experience.

The role requires an associate degree or certification and 2+ years of customer service experience. We value empathy, effective communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma, or enrollment in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, building rapport, and empathizing with patients.
• Proactive problem solving and handling potential concerns.
• Collaborative spirit with the team and patients, focused on results.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify their needs to ensure a memorable experience while promoting products/services.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; enter patient history and information; perform pre-tests and basic eye exams per protocol.
• Assist management with patient complaints and communicate status of all jobs to ensure expectations are met.
• Maintain brand standards and perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Assist in labs: edge lenses, assemble frames, and ensure timely delivery of orders; report equipment issues.
• Monitor delivery times to patients to meet commitments and quality standards.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
