Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience or equivalent required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone and professionally handling calls.
• Basic computer proficiency and adaptability to scheduling software.
• No prior medical experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referrals.
• Handle front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals; update patient records and explain next steps.
• Maintain patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and handling cancellations.
• Collect payments (copays, balances) accurately and professionally; basic reconciliation as needed.
• Uphold HIPAA standards in all interactions and documentation.
