MedStar Health Ambulatory Services seeks an energetic front-end associate to greet patients, register, collect co-pays and schedule follow-ups in a fast-paced environment. You will help coordinate patient flow and ensure accurate demographics and insurance information are on file for seamless care.

Qualificações

• 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience in healthcare preferred.
• Experience with scheduling/registration systems and electronic records preferred.
• Working knowledge of IDX/GE Centricity preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greets patients and coordinates efficient patient flow.
• Registers patients, collects co-pays, and processes Time-of-Service payments.
• Schedules appointments and prepares test requisitions as applicable.
• Answers phones per policy and triage calls.
• Prepares and updates forms, reports and records; scans and indexes records.
• Contacts patients regarding missed appointments and tracks no-shows.
