MedStar Health is seeking a friendly front desk receptionist to greet patients and coordinate flow through the practice. You will register patients, collect co-pays, update demographics and insurance information, and provide test requisitions.

The role requires handling appointment scheduling, time-of-service payments, and ensuring accurate charting while delivering a positive patient experience in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
• Preference given to candidates with health care setting experience and familiarity with computerized schedules/registration systems.

Mansioni

• Greets patients courteously and coordinates patient flow through the practice/department.
• Registers patients, verifies insurance, and explains patient responsibility for payments.
• Schedules appointments and follow-ups, processes co-pays, and posts time-of-service payments.
