Job summary

Stanton Optical in Madison, WI is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to provide outstanding customer service, facilitate sales, and connect our retail and clinical teams to create a seamless patient experience.

You will greet patients, perform pre-tests, schedule appointments, manage patient records, assist with lens edging and repairs, and ensure brand standards are upheld; an associate degree and 2+ years of customer service are required.

Qualifications

• You have an associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• You have 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• You communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• You use active listening, build rapport, and empower with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Answer inquiries and gather information to facilitate sales.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient history and pre-tests.
• Assist with lab tasks, lens edging, and repairs to expedite delivery.
• Maintain brand standards and assist with complaint resolution.
