Job summary

Stanton Optical in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to supervise the store team and ensure clinical goals are met under the Clinical Operations Department.

You will often act as the Manager on Duty to support store operational and sales objectives, greet patients, drive revenue, and mentor Doctor Technicians in diagnostic testing, local mode, digital refraction and contact lens care while upholding HIPAA standards and training guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, direction and guidance to the Doctor Technicians regarding diagnostic testing, local mode and digital refraction, contact lens care and executing PEG clinical standards.
• Ensure training guidelines, procedures, protocols, and certification requirements developed by the Physicians Eyecare Group are followed at the highest level.
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Ensure store brand standards by performing basic housekeeping duties when necessary.
• Coach and train Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on proper insertion and removal of contact lenses.
