Job summary

Stanton Optical in Springfield, MO is seeking a Doctor's Technician to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting sales and coordinating between the retail and clinical services teams. This role helps ensure a smooth patient flow and accurate processing of eyewear orders.

Qualified candidates have at least an associate degree or certification, together with 2+ years of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, building rapport and empathizing with patients.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to collaborate with a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience while promoting products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history and information, and complete pre-tests and testing procedures.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and update on status of all jobs.
• Maintain brand standards through basic housekeeping and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Assist in lab area to assemble lenses, edge stock lenses, and notify management of equipment issues.
• Track delivery times to uphold 100% on-time commitments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
